Overview
AT&T's PrimePlex and PrimeConnect are ISDN PRI local service offerings. Available in select cities nationally, AT&T's Prime services provide an efficient way to integrate your local voice, data and video communications on the same high-performance digital trunks using industry-standard ISDN Primary Rate Interface technology. This all-digital service connects your digital PBX (or other digital premises equipment) directly to the AT&T Network over ISDN-configured T1 facilities that you can use for virtually any combination of voice, video, or switched data transmissions. There is no need to designate certain channels for each type of transmission; your bandwidth is allocated automatically on a call-by-call basis.


AT&T's state-of-the-art ISDN PRI Local Services include:


PrimePlex, an ISDN PRI service designed for locations needing dependable connectivity for local and local toll calls, long distance and international voice, as well as video and switched data services. It supports inbound and outbound calling, as well as access to toll-free service.

PrimeConnect, a specialized ISDN-based PRI trunking solution, designed especially for applications and locations receiving very high volumes (200,000 to 400,000 minutes per month) of inbound-only traffic.
